Tree cover of the world

Tip: See my list of the Most Common Mistakes in English. It will teach you how to avoid mistakes with commas, prepositions, irregular verbs, and much more.

Over the course of the last few months, I published a series of maps showing the tree cover of various parts of the world, based on data by the U.S. Geological Survey from 2010. The map below combines the data for different parts of the world into a single map. To see more details, see my separate maps of Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, and Russia (spanning two continents).

You can get the map below in print (as a poster). By doing so, you will support my cartographic activities.

By the way, I have written several educational ebooks. If you get a copy, you can learn new things and support this website at the same time—why don’t you check them out?
